Happy to introduce: Julia Bialek
Julia rejoined the firm as a full-time Associate at the beginning of October after having already worked with us in 2022 as a trainee lawyer. We are thrilled to have her back on board! Next to Matthias Brenneke, LL.M., she is the second Associate that joined the firm after completing her traineeship with us.
Julia completed her legal traineeship in Lower Saxony with stages inter alia at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and the German Embassy in Bogotá, Colombia. She majored in International Business at Houston Christian University and studied law in Hamburg and at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Julia has an avid interest in international relations. During her studies, Julia participated in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court and won second place in the German National Rounds both as participant as well as coach. She also participated in and organised numerous Model United Nations conferences. She grew up in the United States and in Germany, is fluent in German, English and Spanish and also has basic knowledge of French and Portuguese.
Julia loves to travel and is a fan of Latin American dances. On sunny days you may also find her taking a swing at the golf course.
