Happy to introduce: Yasmin Khuder

Yasmin joined the firm as full-time Associate at the beginning of April 2024. Yasmin completed her legal traineeship in Koblenz with stages at Latham & Watkins and the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR). Prior to her legal traineeship, she interned at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Vienna.

After graduating university, Yasmin was awarded the Carlo-Schmid fellowship by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to serve as an Assistant Legal Counsel at the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague. In this role, she assisted arbitral tribunals in contract-based arbitrations and investor State disputes, including the first ever investor State arbitration held entirely in Arabic.

During her studies she completed an additional two-year program in Anglo-American law, participated in and coached the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court and co-founded and consulted for the school’s refugee law clinic.

Yasmin speaks German, English and Arabic.
