Promotion of Julia Bialek to Senior Associate
We are pleased to announce that Julia Bialek has been promoted to Senior Associate with effect from 1 October 2026.
Since joining the firm in 2023, after having already trained at the firm in 2022, she has worked on a wide range of high-profile domestic and international arbitrations and commercial disputes spanning various industries. In addition to her work as counsel, Julia has also been appointed as an arbitrator.
Admitted to the bar in 2023, Julia has pursued an international career from the outset. She spent a semester at Houston Christian University and pursued her legal studies in Hamburg and Madrid. Her legal traineeship took her inter alia to Bogota.
She is part of the SPANGENBERG team litigating a claim of over 500 million euros against TÜV SÜD AG on behalf of survivors and relatives of victims of the Brumadinho dam collapse in Brazil. She has also been involved in complex disputes in the defence industry, including one involving parallel proceedings before state courts and in arbitrations, with a value in dispute of more than 90 million euros.
Julia’ s promotion reflects her stellar development, her consistent contributions to the firm and her increasing responsibilities. We look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role.
